Hi,

i am preparing a team match training session, and I would like to use
a Vuegraph session to have scores for comparison purposes.

Since I rarely watch vuegraph, I decided to ask the BBF folks for help.
The session should not be too recent, and it would be great to have some
name recognition, but most of all the boards should not be too dull.

Thanks for any suggestion.

With kind regards
Marlowe

I often do this and generally just go through the Vugraph archives (http://www.bridgebas...ph_archives.php) and just look for an interesting set. I often go for Spingold or Vanderbilt events since the quality of the operators is good and more consistent than many events.

I tend to go for sets where there is a good turnover of imps, implying that there may be competitive auctions or decisions to be made. For example, these from a year ago may be okay.

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades

Just in Case someone is interested:

For the Xth time I found Richard Pavliceks side helpfull, especially his format converter
http://rpbridge.net/rput.htm, every time I get impressed more.

And it still works, he has a installer added ( a couple of years ago, there was none, if I remember if correctly),
and it is bundled with Doxbox, to make the converter run on 64-bit machines.

And is shipped with a set of vuegraph hands, that get also installed.
And if you need more recent sets, the converter will be handle the lin files from the BBO vuegraph side.

............

It was also great to find the old BBO Windows GUI, the GUI was able to display the lin File as Bridge
Movie. I am not sure, if there is a replacement for this task, the handviewer may not be able to hande a complete
session.
