<Their cc here>

(1) for 1H/S - 2D/H = 3(4) card raise (8+)
Assume 8+ means 8-11 ish (less than game forcing raise)?
How is the continuation?

(2) for 1S-2D = 5+H (8+)
Assume 8+ means 8-11 ish (less than game forcing 2/1)?
How is the continuation?

No you have it wrong.
Both bids are artificial and unlimited in strength.
As the bids are forcing for at least 1 round you can include game forcing hands.

Sir, the system card shows the responses to be 8+ and does not specify the upper limit.However it appears that YOU play the responses to be showing 8+--11 HCP.If so then these responses become only LIMIT responses and can have at least 2Cover cards (an A,K and Q in any of the 4 suits are called cover cards). Game is possible if opener has 6 losers if the responder has 3 useful cover cards.Opener can find out by using the SST(stands for Short suit try) or LST (Long suit try). Details can be had on the net .I can not suggest the further development of the Auction 1S-2D (5+ hearts)
